Humboldt Crabs defeated West Coast Kings 8-0 on Saturday as four pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Cameron Saso struck out Casey Turturici to finish off the game. The Crabs are 21-9 on the season.
Humboldt Crabs secured the victory thanks to five runs in the first inning. Humboldt Crabs batters contributing to the big inning included Tyler Davis, Aaron Perez, and Anthony Karagiannopoulos #18, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Nick Perryman took the win for Humboldt Crabs. The ace went four innings, allowing zero runs on four hits and striking out five. Andrew LaCour, Saso, and Hayden Bode all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
Rocco Borrelli took the loss for West Coast Kings. The pitcher went one inning, allowing five runs on four hits and striking out one.
Humboldt Crabs hit one home run on the day. Davis had a homer in the first inning.
Humboldt Crabs tallied 11 hits. Perez, Colby Lunsford, and Lane Oliphant each collected multiple hits for Humboldt Crabs. Perez led Humboldt Crabs with three hits in four at bats.
The Crabs finish the 3-game series today at the Arcata Ballpark starting at 12:30pm. This is the last day, Crabs RF Carey Arbolida will wear the red, white and blue and fans will get to see him play, as he leaves for Texas to go play ball in Houston. Cary’s parents were regularly in attendance at the Arcata Ballpark and the Crabs faithful will be sad to see the family go, but with Cary the best in his future baseball career. GoCrabsGo!
