Youth Baseball Camps for Boys & Girls
Your Crabs Camp experience will include:
- A fun week of baseball skills instruction by Crabs Coaches and Players.
- An authentic Crabs Baseball Camp Tee Shirt (in Youth Sizes),
- One Youth Season Pass, and
- Ten Adult Game Tickets.
THREE LEVELS OF CAMPS ARE OFFERED:
$45/Three-Day (9am – 12pm) BEGINNERS* Camps for ages 6-8:
- July 10-12: Arcata (Little League Field)
- July 17-19 Fortuna (Newburg Park)
$95/Five-Day (9am – 1pm) YOUTH Camps for ages 9-14:
- July 10-14: Arcata (Little League Field)
- July 17-21: Fortuna (Newburg Park)
$95/Four-Day (9am – 1pm) ADVANCED Camp for ages 12-16:
- July 24-27: Eureka (Redwood Fields
Camp Fees & Details:
Just $95 per week-long session. Campers will enjoy a week with players from the World Famous Humboldt Crabs, and will receive:
- An authentic Humboldt Crabs Camp Tee Shirt (shirts are Youth sizes),
- One Youth Season Pass, good for ALL Crabs home games, and
- Ten Adult Game Tickets.
*Three-Day Beginners Camps for kids ages 6-8 are $45. Each child at those camps will receive 4 Youth Tickets and 2 Adult Game Tickets.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Camp size is limited to the first 90 registrants.
- Ticket strips are limited to one per family regardless of number of camp enrollments purchased.
Beginners Camps
These camps are for buys & girls ages 6-8, just getting started in their baseball careers, not quite old enough for the weeklong camps but who still want to get out on the field with their heroes.
Youth Camp
Youth Camp is for boys & girls ages 9-14 who want to learn all defensive positions and have a chance to play, learn, and improve at the position of their choice. Baseball offense, hitting, bunting, and base running, is taught from the ground up. Teamwork, sportsmanship, and communication are stressed. Group instruction, game situations, team games and practice with pitching machines are some of the activities the camper will experience.
Advanced Camp
Advanced Camp is for the serious players ages 12-16 who want help with their batting, pitching, or other skills they feel need improvement. The minimum age for this camp is 12 years. This camp is designed to help the player make the transition from Little League to Babe Ruth/Senior League.
Camp Coaches Each camp begins with a welcome and hands on involvement by Crabs Baseball Coaches. During the week, Crabs Coach Eric Giacone will direct the squad of instructors — an assistant coach and several players hand-picked from the Crabs roster for their baseball skills and their ability to work well with kids.
A Youth Season Pass and 10 Adult Game Tickets will be mailed to you with a letter of confirmation camp registration. Kids will receive their Humboldt Crabs Camp Tee Shirt at camp.
