Four-year varsity letter winner in baseball and three-year letter winner in basketball, earning Santa Cruz County Male Athlete of the Year honors as a senior while posting a 4.25 GPA over four years… Earned First Team All-League honors as a freshman catcher while helping lead his team to a CCS championship… After missing most of his sophomore baseball season with a shoulder injury, returned to earn League MVP honors as a junior and First Team All-State (Small School) honors at catcher before closing his career with additional First Team All-League and All-State honors at catcher as a senior, finishing with a .401 career batting average and 1.18 ERA… Also a standout guard in basketball, he was a multi-time All-League selection and senior-year League MVP, averaging 20.2 points, 10.8 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 5.4 steals per game.
