Game 2: Humboldt Crabs takes back lead in extra innings for victory over Medford Rogues on Wednesday, June 14
Humboldt Crabs took the lead late in the game in a 7-5 victory over Medford Rogues on Wednesday. The game was tied at five with Humboldt Crabs batting in the top of the eleventh when Griffin Myers homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Medford Rogues scored four runs in the ninth inning, but Humboldt Crabs still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive onslaught by Medford Rogues was led by Cody Nitowitz, Cameron Sewell, Reece MacRae, and Aidan Dougherty, all driving in runs in the frame.
Humboldt Crabs captured the lead in the third inning. Jeff Bauser doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Medford Rogues evened things up at five in the bottom of the ninth inning. Medford Rogues scored one run when Dougherty doubled.

Wyatt Reginatto would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Tuesday, driving in five on three hits to lead Humboldt Crabs past Medford Rogues 15-4 on Tuesday. Reginatto drove in runs on a double in the fourth, a single in the sixth, and a single in the ninth.
Humboldt Crabs opened up scoring in the first inning. Billy Ham singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
Humboldt Crabs pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Griffin Myer singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.
Humboldt Crabs notched seven runs in the ninth inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Luke Brown, Reginatto, and Ham and a double by Cameron Saso.
Gabe Tanner earned the victory on the hill for Humboldt Crabs. Tanner lasted six innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out two. Brady Chavez threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.
