Humboldt Crabs Overcomes Novato Knicks In Face Of Early 3-Run Inning

Novato Knicks scored three runs in the fifth inning, but Humboldt Crabs still won 8-3 on Sunday. Joey Taddie and Eli Hancock each drove in runs during the inning.

Humboldt Crabs opened up scoring in the second inning. Luke Reece drew a walk, scoring one run.

Gabe Tanner was the winning pitcher for Humboldt Crabs. The pitcher surrendered three runs on seven hits over five innings, striking out five. Garrison Finck threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Finck recorded the last 12 outs to earn the save for Humboldt Crabs.

Ryan Shim took the loss for Novato Knicks. The bulldog lasted two innings, allowing three hits and six runs while striking out two.

Humboldt Crabs racked up ten hits. Michael McKernan and Colby Lunsford each had multiple hits for Humboldt CrabsLunsford and McKernan each collected two hits to lead Humboldt CrabsHumboldt Crabs didn’t commit a single error in the field. Javier Felix had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.

Novato Knicks Bests Humboldt Crabs In Close Game

Both teams were strong on the pitcher’s mound on Saturday, but Novato Knicks was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a 2-0 victory over Humboldt Crabs on Saturday. Cameron Saso started the game for Humboldt Crabs and recorded 18 outs.

A single by Wyatt Reginatto in the second inning was a positive for Humboldt Crabs.

Zach Coleman was credited with the victory for Novato Knicks. The fireballer allowed three hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out three. Nick Herman and Tanner Ivey entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Ivey recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Novato Knicks.

Saso took the loss for Humboldt Crabs. The righty lasted six innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out seven.

Cubby CortezLuke ReeceReginatto, and Braden Frank each collected one hit to lead Humboldt Crabs.

Humboldt Crabs notched three runs in the fourth inning. Andrew Crane and Mason Hirata each drove in runs during the inning.

Tanner Fonoti earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Novato Knicks. Fonoti went five innings, allowing four runs on six hits, striking out four and walking one. Jake Dent threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Dent recorded the last 12 outs to earn the save for Novato Knicks.

Caleb Ruiz took the loss for Humboldt Crabs. The pitcher lasted four innings, allowing ten hits and five runs while striking out six and walking zero.
