The Crabs defeated The San Leandro Ports 13-0 on Wednesday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Ryan Cowdrey struck out Carlos Solis to finish off the game.

The Crabs secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught by the Crabs was led by Riley Cleary, Dawson Bacho, and Ryan Higgins, all knocking in runs in the inning.

A single by former Crab Ramon Enriquez (2018) in the fifth inning was a positive for The San Leandro Ports.

Josh Mollerus earned the win for the Crabs. He allowed four hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out nine. Cowdrey threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Kevin Whitaker took the loss for the San Leandro Ports. He surrendered five runs on four hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four.

The Crabs socked two home runs on the day. Higgins had a four bagger in the fifth inning. Bacho had a long ball in the eighth inning.

The Crabs collected 11 hits on the day. Bacho and Kokko Figueiredo each had multiple hits for The Crabs. Figueiredo and Bacho each managed three hits to lead the Crabs. The Crabs didn’t commit a single error in the field. Bacho had the most chances in the field with 15.

The Crabs watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 5-3 loss to the San Leandro Ports on Tuesday. The San Leandro Ports scored on a fielder’s choice by Beto Solis and a single by Sammy Esparza in the second inning.

The San Leandro Ports got things started in the second inning when Tyler Condie induced Solis to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

Ricardo Hernandez was the winning pitcher for the Ports. He surrendered one run on five hits over five and two-thirds innings, striking out four. Jesser Hernandez and Tony Zumangi entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Hernandez recorded the last five outs to earn the save for San Leandro.

Condie took the loss for the Crabs. He lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out four.

The Crabs totaled nine hits. Ryan Higgins, Carter Booth, and Kokko Figueiredo each collected multiple hits for the Crabs. Higgins led the Crabs with three hits in five at bats.

The San Leandro Ports saw the ball well today, racking up ten hits in the game. Esparza and Ramon Enriquez each managed multiple hits for San Leandro.

Both teams were strong on the hill on Sunday, but the Pacific Union Financial Capitalists was just a little bit stronger at the plate in a victory over the Crabs on Sunday. Evan Gibbons started the game for the Crabs and recorded 12 outs.

Steven Zobac was the winning pitcher for the Pacific Union Financial Capitalists. He went five and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out five and walking one. Joseph King threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Gibbons took the loss for the Crabs. He went four innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out five.

Octavio Corona started the game for the Pacific Union Financial Capitalists. He went two and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on one hit and striking out three

The Pacific Union Financial Capitalists socked two home runs on the day. Devereaux Harrison put one out in the fourth inning. Etahn Cloyd had a four bagger in the ninth inning.

Dylan Johnson went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the Crabs in hits. The Crabs didn’t commit a single error in the field. Dawson Bacho had the most chances in the field with 14.

The Crabs seized victory in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off home run at the end of the game to topple the visiting Pacific Union Financial Capitalists. The Crabs trailed 10-8 in the bottom of the ninth inning when Damian Henderson homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.

Bats blistered as the Crabs collected 15 hits and the Pacific Union Financial Capitalists tallied 16 in the high-scoring game.

The Pacific Union Financial Capitalists scored four runs in the sixth inning. The big inning for the Pacific Union Financial Capitalists came thanks to doubles by Brock Jones and Will Worthington and a home run by Mac Bingham.

Ryan Rodriguez was the winning pitcher for the Crabs. He went one and one-third innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out two. Riley Cleary threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jake Harrell took the loss for the Pacific Union Financial Capitalists. He surrendered five runs on four hits over one-third of an inning, striking out one and walking one.

Kyle Pruhsmeier started the game for the Crabs. He lasted six innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out four and walking zero Peter Hansen started the game for the Pacific Union Financial Capitalists. He allowed six hits and one run over five innings, striking out three

The Crabs beat the visiting Pacific Union Financial Capitalists 4-2 on Friday.

The Crabs got things moving in the second inning, when Damian Henderson hit a solo homer.

Davonte Butler, from Cal State Bakersfield, was credited with the victory for the Crabs. This was Butler’s last game for the Crabs as he reached his innings-pitched count for the summer. He surrendered two runs on four hits over eight innings, striking out 12. Butler finished with a 2.406 ERA with 36 strikeouts and only giving up 18 hits in 6 games. Butler finished with 2 Wins, 1 Loss and 1 Save. Butler became an instant fan favorite on the mound. Steven Ouellette threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Josh White took the loss for the Pacific Union Financial Capitalists. He went three innings, allowing four runs on five hits and striking out two.

The Crabs smacked one home run on the day. Henderson went deep in the second inning.

Dom Souto led the Crabs with two hits in two at bats.

The Humboldt Crabs beat the Solano Mudcats 7-2 on July 4th, go to 15-11

The Solano Mudcats got things moving in the first inning. The Mudcats scored one run when Jack Pridy tripled.

In the bottom of the second inning, the Crabs tied things up at one when Aidan Morris‘s sac fly scored one run for Humboldt.

The Crabs pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Dawson Bacho doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run and Damian Henderson singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Humboldt scored three runs in the seventh inning. Crabs batters contributing to the big inning included Kokko Figueiredo, Bacho, and Vinny Bologna, who each had RBIs in the inning.

The Crabs tallied 12 hits in the game. Henderson, Bologna, and Jalen Smith each racked up multiple hits for Humboldt. Henderson went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Humboldt Crabs in hits.

Solano Mudcats tallied seven hits. Wellington Balsley and Pridy each had multiple hits for Solano Mudcats. Solano Mudcats didn’t commit a single error in the field. Christian Harkey had the most chances in the field with eight.

Damian Henderson came to ballpark and meant business on Wednesday, tallying four hits and leading the Humboldt Crabs to a 5-1 win over Solano Mudcats. Henderson singled in the second, singled in the fourth, singled in the sixth, and doubled in the eighth.

Dylan Campbell pitched the Humboldt Crabs to victory. He lasted eight innings, allowing four hits and zero runs while striking out four. Dalton Smith threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Eric Waldichuk took the loss for the Solano Mudcats. He surrendered three runs on six hits over five and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking zero.

The Crabs tallied ten hits. Henderson and Kyle Knell all had multiple hits for Humboldt. Henderson went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead his team in hits.

Isaiah Verrett led the Mudcats with two hits in four at bats.

Crabs fall to Solano Mudcats after ninth inning score

The Humboldt Crabs lost the lead late in a 7-6 defeat to the Solano Mudcats on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. The game was tied at six with the Mudcats batting in the top of the ninth.

Despite the loss, the Crabs did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, the Solano Mudcats had ten hits on the way to victory.

The Crabs fired up the offense in the first inning, scoring two runs when infielder Kokko Figueiredo homered.

Nik Dodson earned the victory on the mound for Solano. He surrendered one run on three hits over three innings, striking out three and walking one.

Steven Ouellette took the loss for the Crabs. He went one inning, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out two and walking one.

Tyler Condie started the game for Humboldt. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over three innings, striking out four.

Humboldt socked two home runs on the day. Crabs outfielder Vinny Bologna had a long ball in the sixth inning.

The Crabs racked up ten hits. Figueiredo, Kyle Knell, and Dawson Bacho all managed multiple hits for Humboldt. Figueiredo went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead the Crabs in hits. Humboldt didn’t commit a single error in the field. Catcher and local Aidan Morris had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.

The Mudcats racked up ten hits in the game. Josh Medina, Christian Harkey, and Justin Banks each had multiple hits for Solano Mudcats. Solano Mudcats didn’t commit a single error in the field. James Harwell had the most chances in the field with eight.

Souto strong at the plate as Humboldt defeats the Expos 12-4

Dom Souto came to ballpark and meant business on Sunday, tallying four hits and leading the Humboldt Crabs to a 12-4 win over California Expos. Souto doubled in the third, doubled in the fifth, singled in the sixth, and singled in the seventh.

The Crabs tallied five runs in the fifth inning. The rally was led by doubles by Souto, Kokko Figueiredo, and Bryce Kirk and a single by Aidan Morris.
