The Crabs got on the board in the first inning when Damian Henderson singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Humboldt scored six runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Ryan Higgins and Daniel Carrizosa, a walk by Aidan Morris, and a fielder’s choice by Carter Booth.

Josh Mollerus took the win for the Crabs. He allowed three hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out six and walking one. Dalton Smith and Ryan Cowdrey entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

The Crabs hit one home run on the day. Henderson went yard in the sixth inning.

The Crabs tallied 11 hits on the day. HigginsHenderson, and Dawson Bacho all managed multiple hits for Humboldt.  Higgins led the Crabs with three hits in five at bats. Humboldt didn’t commit a single error in the field. Morris had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
