The Crabs got things started in the first inning. Dawson Bacho drew a walk, scoring one run. The B52’s scored four runs in the fourth inning. Braeden Holliday, Karter Koch, Spencer Duggan, and Cody Banks all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
Nick Tabura took the win for Humboldt Crabs. He allowed two hits and one run over three innings, striking out three. Dylan Campbell, Ryan Rodriguez, and Dylan Lamb all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory. Lamb recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Humboldt Crabs.
Cade Sheets took the loss for Humboldt B52’s. He surrendered nine runs on eight hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two.
The Crabs launched one home run on the day. Damian Henderson went for the long ball in the first inning.
Humboldt racked up 13 hits in the game. Ryan Higgins, Henderson, and Bacho each had multiple hits for Humboldt Crabs. Higgins went 3-for-5 at the plate to lead the Humboldt Crabs in hits.
The Humboldt B52’s racked up 11 hits. Jeff Giacomini, Ethan Fischel, and Tommy Gale all managed multiple hits for Humboldt B52’s.
