Humboldt Crabs drops game one to Healdsburg Prune Packers after late score

HEALDSBURG — Humboldt Crabs lost the lead late in a 10-6 defeat to Healdsburg Prune Packers on Tuesday. The game was tied at five with Healdsburg Prune Packers batting in the bottom of the seventh when Ryan Shreve hit a solo homer.
Humboldt Crabs collected nine hits and Healdsburg Prune Packers had 17 in the high-scoring affair.
Healdsburg Prune Packers got things started in the first inning when Bryan Arias tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
In the top of the fifth inning, Humboldt Crabs tied things up at five. An error scored one run for Humboldt Crabs.
Humboldt Crabs tallied three runs in the fourth inning. Humboldt Crabs put the pressure on, lead by a single by Chase Larsen and a home run by Jackson O'Boy.
Healdsburg Prune Packers scored three runs in the eighth inning. The offensive onslaught by Healdsburg Prune Packers was led by Quentin Selma and Shreve, who each had RBIs in the inning.
Nick Roth got the win for Healdsburg Prune Packers. He lasted three and a third innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out three and walking zero. Jackson Cunninghamthrew one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
Chris Brown took the loss for Humboldt Crabs. He allowed nine hits and five runs over six innings, striking out four and walking zero.
Alec Renard started the game for Healdsburg Prune Packers. He surrendered five runs on eight hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking zero
Humboldt Crabs hit two home runs on the day. McCarthy Tatum went yard in the eighth inning. O'Boy went deep in the fourth inning.
