Team heads to Medford, looking to play better than it did in Redding.

After splitting a midweek doubleheader with the San Francisco Seals, the Crabs will take to the road again this weekend, and this time they'll be hoping for a little more success.
The Crabs' first road trip of the summer saw them drop two of three games at Redding two weeks ago, just their fourth and fifth losses of the entire summer.
Since then, however, the team has won six of seven games and is now a very respectable 31-6 on the season, including 15-3 in conference play, good enough for top spot.
Beginning with a single game Thursday night, the Crabs will resume conference play at the Medford Riverdawgs, before completing the series with a doubleheader Friday night.
The team will be back in Arcata Saturday evening to host the California Seals in a non-conference doubleheader.
Going into this week's games at Medford, the Crabs hold a commanding four-and-a-half game lead in conference play over second-placed Folsom (12-9).
The Crabs close out regular-season conference play with a three-game series against the Nevada Bighorns next week and will then host the WCL Tri-State postseason tournament in early August.
On Wednesday night, the Crabs lost the opening game of a doubleheader with the San Francisco Seals 6-1 before rallying to take the nightcap 5-2.
